Image Uploader

Every ASM site includes a default image that fits your 'niche' but you can easily upload extra images with our image uploader. Once uploaded the system creates a thumbnail to show in the related articles section. This way your thumbnails are clear and sharp, not like some applications that attempt to 'scale down' your image with HTML, causing your thumbnails to look distorted. Of course you also have the option to remove images at any time as well as the ability to over ride the main image that is shipped with the article.

Article & Related Article Image options

This section allows you to turn your article or related images on or off. You may also set your article & related article images to the left or the right of the related article text.

Image Rotation & Assignment

Our system includes a unique 4 tier system for displaying article and related article images. In the administration panel you may turn on any of the following image display options:

  • Direct Image to Article Assignment

With a simple point and click interface you may assign an image to one article or as many articles as you wish. When an article that has an image assigned to it is displayed on your site or an article is displayed in the related articles section the assigned image will also appear.

  • Keyword image Assignment

Using this feature you assign keywords (or phrases) to each image. When articles (or related articles) are displayed our system analyzes the article headings and if a keyword match is found an that image is displayed

  • Image Randomized

Using the image randomizer cause our system to select a random image for each article (or related article)

What is unique about our system is the fact that you can 'stack' all of the options mentioned above. When using all these different methods combined to select images our system does the following:

  1. The system looks to see if an image is assigned to the article
  2. If no direct assignment is found the system checks the article's title to see if it contains an image's keyword
  3. If no keyword is matched the system grabs a random image to display
  4. If image randomization isn't turned on the system displays the default image

It should also be noted that you can adjust the settings for the article displays and the related article displays 100% independent of each other!

Editing Image Keywords

Any time you wish you may edit the keywords you have assinged to a specific image. The changes are instant on the site, changing your website the second you enter the new keywords!
